SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage core accounting functions, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting business decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

•  Primary responsibility is to assist in preparation of financial journal entries and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
•  Prepare and record asset, liability, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
•  Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
•  Prepare documentation for external auditors
•  Analyze financial data and explain variances to management
•  Improve accounting processes and internal controls
•  Collaborate closely with departments across the organization

Required Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree in accounting
•  Minimum of 5-8 years successful accounting experience
•  Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
•  History of building strong relationships across teams
•  Ability to prioritize and organize work
•  High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills

•  Experience working in healthcare industry
•  Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
•  Strong communication skills and attention to detail
