Alera Group is seeking a motivated Client Services Manager to lead a high-performing P&C team while managing a portion of a personal book of business. This role balances people leadership with hands-on client service, ensuring retention, account growth, and operational excellence. You’ll partner with regional leadership to drive strategic initiatives, streamline workflows, and deliver a consistent, client-focused experience across all touchpoints.

Client Service & Account Management
Manage a personal book of business, meeting retention goals and identifying cross-sell/upsell opportunities
Oversee team-level account management to support retention, growth, and profitability
Analyze client exposures, loss history, and operations to recommend tailored insurance solutions
Lead the renewal process, including remarketing, proposals, and proactive account management
Deliver and oversee daily client service activities such as certificates, endorsements, and billing inquiries
Leadership & Team Development
Lead and mentor Account Managers and Coordinators, fostering a Performance-Based Culture (The Collaborative Way)
Communicate expectations through 1:1s, team meetings, and performance feedback
Track KPIs (retention, service turnaround, account rounding, documentation accuracy, service profitability) to drive operational excellence
Oversee workload, service levels, PTO coordination, and scheduling to maintain consistent coverage
Handle escalated client or internal service challenges with professionalism and urgency
Compliance & Operational Excellence
Required
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, operations, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C with a carrier, broker, or consulting firm, with strong client service history
P&C broker’s license required
Proven experience mentoring or coaching team members
Preferred
Experience implementing process improvements and measurable performance metrics
Professional designations or certifications in P&C
Comfort leading in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Core Competencies
This role is fully remote, with preference for candidates located in EST or CST.

Salary range is $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus eleigibility for an annual bonus.
