Roles & Responsibilities

  • Five years of successful B2B Account Management experience including cold calling, prospecting leads, and training skills; or two years of experience as an Indirect Dealer Account Manager I at Grow Financial.
  • Five years’ experience in indirect lending, underwriting, auto industry sales, or an equivalent combination.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills with above-average time management, problem solving, and prioritization abilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and residency in the assigned territory; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, DealerTrack, RouteOne, and CRM systems.

Requirements:

  • Drive business growth by developing new opportunities and maintaining existing relationships within the assigned territory; oversee the indirect dealership network and provide management, training, and support to dealer vendors; monitor portfolio performance and recommend risk mitigation.
  • Act as liaison between dealership vendors and Grow business units; manage strategic account performance, analyze market data, and generate regular reporting for the designated market area; support growth in new markets and states with overnight travel.
  • Assist with new hire training and represent Grow at business-related conferences as needed.
  • Meet or exceed KPIs established by management; service Northeast Virginia (Fredericksburg, Arlington, Manassas surrounding areas) and Southern Maryland.

Responsibilities:

The Area Sales Manager Indirect II is responsible for driving business growth by developing new opportunities and maintaining existing relationships within an assigned territory for Grow Financial. This role includes oversight of the indirect dealership network, ensuring effective management, communication, training, and support to dealer vendors, monitoring dealership portfolio performance and making recommendations for any risk mitigation. Acting as a liaison between dealership vendors and Grow business units. The Area Sales Manager Indirect II will manage strategic account performance, analyze market data, and generate regular reporting for their designated market area and support overall opportunity for business growth in new markets and states, including overnight travel, assistance with new hire training and attendance at business-related conferences. Is responsible for meeting or exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) established by management.

 

This position will service Northeast Virginia (Fredericksburg, Arlington, Manassas & surrounding areas) and Southern Maryland.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor of Arts/Science degree from an accredited university is preferred. 
  • Five years of successful business-to-business Account Management experience including cold calling, prospecting leads, and training skills required; or two years of experience as an Indirect Dealer Account Manager I at Grow Financial.
  • Five years’ experience in indirect lending, underwriting, auto industry sales, or an equivalent combination, is required.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Must possess above average time management, problem solving and prioritization skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must live in the assigned territory.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products, DealerTrack, RouteOne use of Customer Relationship Management system.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, bending, pushing, and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of twenty-five (25) pounds without assistance.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and type English.
  • Must be able to hear and use a telephone.
  • Use of computer requires repetitive keystrokes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Telecommuting and home office setting.
  • Employees will be assigned a corporate vehicle and will travel within the credit union’s area of presence greater than 80% of the work week; overnight travel included.
  • Flexible work schedule that may include evenings and/or weekends (Saturday/Sunday) hours.
