  • Proven experience creating marketing copy for beauty/cosmetics brands, with a strong focus on brand voice, tone, and consumer-facing content
  • Deep knowledge of EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and INCI naming conventions, including claims substantiation and safety documentation
  • Experience with final label reviews/artwork markups and familiarity with regulated brands (e.g., PG or Unilever) is a plus, with strong attention to technical accuracy

Requirements:

  • Develop and adapt marketing content in Polish and Baltic languages for beauty/cosmetics campaigns, ensuring brand voice and consumer engagement
  • Perform regulatory content tasks: ensure compliance with EU cosmetics regulation, manage INCI naming, assess claims substantiation, and compile safety documentation
  • Review and assist with final label artwork markups prior to printing to ensure regulatory compliance and accuracy across markets
  • Collaborate across two workstreams (Marketing/Sales and Regulatory Compliance), communicating with clients and leveraging cross-skill capabilities in a remote freelance setup

Job description

We are looking for Polish > Estonian, Lithuanian, and Latvian linguists for an upcoming project with a major Beauty/Cosmetics client. This project involves two distinct workstreams, and we require specialized linguists for each. If linguists can do both aspects, that would be ideal.

1. Marketing & Sales Stream

  • Creative linguists with a proven track record in the beauty/cosmetics industry.

  • Focus on brand voice, tone, and engaging consumer-facing content.

2. Regulatory & Compliance Stream This is a highly technical role requiring subject matter expertise. Candidates must demonstrate:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep familiarity with EU Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 and INCI naming conventions.

  • Compliance Experience: Expertise in claims substantiation (e.g., "hypoallergenic"), ingredient restrictions, and safety documentation.

  • Technical Precision: Experience with final label reviews (artwork markups) before printing.

  • Background: Previous experience with regulated brands like P&G or Unilever is a significant plus. Medical experience would also be an advantage
