Requirements:

Drive cloud-based monitoring, performance optimization, and incident detection across AWS and Guidewire SaaS environments.
Create and manage dashboards, alerts, and reports using Datadog and other observability tools to enable proactive monitoring.
Implement DevOps practices and automation to improve system reliability and performance.
Troubleshoot incidents, analyze root causes, and collaborate with teams to improve observability tooling (Datadog, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, Kibana).

Job Overview:

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to drive cloud-based monitoring, performance optimization, and incident detection. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, observability tools like Datadog, and scripting for automation. The ideal candidate will enhance system reliability, implement best DevOps practices, and create insightful dashboards and alerts for proactive monitoring.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Guidewire SaaS.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
Relevant certifications in Datadog or other observability tools.
Strong expertise in Datadog observability solutions.
Experience with other observability tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Kibana, Grafana.
Proficiency in creating and managing dashboards, alerts, and reports.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
