Roles & Responsibilities

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer and/or cannabis strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills and strong communication (interpersonal, written, and verbal).

Requirements:

  • Grow KSS portfolio assortment and revenue within the defined territory; manage revenue and distribution targets, and identify growth opportunities and gaps in the current portfolio.
  • Travel to dispensaries to present the product portfolio to managers and buyers; assess customer needs, answer questions, and assist with the ordering process.
  • Generate and develop a pipeline, establish accounts, process necessary paperwork, and provide sales reports to management; meet individual goals and collaborate with other territory managers and the regional sales manager to achieve team goals.
  • Manage a territory of 50-100 accounts with a portfolio of leading premium brands; extensive travel and driving are required.

Job Summary

The Kiva Sales and Service Territory Manager’s main responsibility is to increase assortment, develop and close new qualified customers primarily in the San Diego region. The qualified salesperson must be extremely knowledgeable about the product lines, represent honesty, integrity and professionalism, while providing exceptional customer service.

  • Minimum of 3 years sales experience in CPG, spirits/wine/beer and/or cannabis is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence and competitive drive
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Must display excellent customer service skills
  • Proficiency using Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Experience using distribution ERP is a plus
  • Must have experience handling high volume incoming calls, emails, text messages
  • Experience handling high volume sales is required
  • Must display excellent communication skills, interpersonal, written, and verbal
  • Enthusiasm for and prior work experience in the cannabis industry is a plus
  • Experience working with well-recognized, premium brand company is strongly preferred
  • Experience running a territory of 50-100 accounts with managing a portfolio of leading industry brands is strongly preferred
  • Must be able to pass Motor Vehicle Report requirements
