  • Provide support for sourcing in all IT categories, including software, hardware, and Professional Services; manage contract management and execution through conclusion in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Negotiate terms and pricing for IT vendor contracts, drive best value for the business, and establish contracting timelines; ensure contract details are captured (quotes, contracts, statements of work, metrics) and maintained in P2P and Contract Management systems.
  • Manage renewals and contract amendments; enforce contract policy compliance and ensure accurate data capture in Cotiviti Procure to Pay (P2P) and Contract Management systems.

Overview:

Strategic Vendor Solutions ("SVS") provides support services to the entire Cotiviti, Inc. ("Cotiviti") organization for the contracting of vendors who provide products and services to Cotiviti as well as any vendors with potential to join Cotiviti's mission through a joint venture, product development or some other form of strategic partnership.

 

Cotiviti is a leader in analytics driven healthcare payment accuracy and quality-based solutions with locations in the USA, Canada, Australia, Nepal and India and relies heavily on leading edge technology to deliver these products and services to our wide range of customers. SVS is tasked with driving best in class strategic sourcing starting with initial vendor engagement and contracting to vendor performance and risk management. The team’s key objectives are to manage risks while driving savings, standardization and continual improvement, and assuring that the contractual business approach is aligned across customer and vendor segments.

 

Key activities include supporting SVS in strategic sourcing, contracting activities, the invoicing process, vendor performance review, and risk management. The Strategic Sourcing Manager under the guidance of a Director within SVS, will support Cotiviti’s Research and Development R&D business leaders within different Business Units as they leverage third-party resources to deliver the business requirements and development for our products and services. To accomplish these responsibilities, the Strategic Sourcing Manager will leverage cross-functional relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders within the Legal, HR, Compliance, Finance and Security teams. Vendor negotiations and contract review, analysis, and risk mitigation are a fundamental part of this role. Basic knowledge of IT contracts for Professional Services and Software Licensing is required.

Responsibilities:

Sourcing / Procurement:

  • Clarify, document and support Cotiviti business requirements for vendor partnerships, drive strategic sourcing, identify potential third-party vendors, and complete contracts within an organization that is growing and undergoing change.
  • Provide support for sourcing in all categories of IT, including software, hardware, and Professional Services.

Contract Management:

  • IT Vendor contracting: Ensure details are contractually captured (quotes, contracts, statements of work, metrics, units of measure etc.), negotiate terms and pricing, drive best value for the business, establish and communicate contracting timelines.
  • Third-party contract management and execution through conclusion while working, as necessary, in close partnership with Legal, Compliance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure business requirements are captured and met.
  • Support and manage renewals and contractual amendments.
  • Enforce contract policy compliance.
  • Ensure details are accurately captured in Cotiviti Procure to Pay (P2P) and Contract Management systems (contract type, requester, vendor details, requested date, etc.).

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, with a focus on business administration.

  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Experience with Coupa or other Procure to Pay systems.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Basic knowledge of IT contracts such as Software License Agreements, SaaS Agreements, Cloud Computing, etc.

Cognitive/Mental Requirement:

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects.

  • Excellent communication skills and understanding of when to escalate issues.

  • Ability to analyze large amounts of data and identify supply chain patterns and profiles.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.

  • Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

  • Must be able to provide a dedicated, secure work area.

  • Must be able to provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance.

Base compensation ranges from $90,000 to $115,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
