Role Overview
New Era Technology is hiring an experienced SAP SD Consultant on a freelance/contract basis to support ongoing SAP implementation, rollout, and support engagements.
The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), hands-on configuration experience, and exposure to integration with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, and LE/WM/EWM. Candidates with strong S/4HANA experience and client-facing skills will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and support end-to-end SAP SD activities including requirement gathering, configuration, and deployment.

Configure and support key SD processes such as:

Order-to-Cash (O2C)
-
Sales Order Management
-
Delivery Processing
-
Shipping & Transportation
-
Billing & Invoicing
-
Pricing & Condition Techniques
-
Credit Management
-
Output Determination
-

Work on SD master data setup including customer master, material master, pricing master, and partner functions.

Handle integration with FI (billing/accounting), MM (procurement & inventory), and logistics modules.
-
Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams.
-
Support testing cycles including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and cutover activities.
-
Provide production support and resolve incidents with root cause analysis.

Prepare documentation such as process flows, configuration documents, and end-user manuals.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and global stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
Required Skills & Expertise

Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD configuration and support.

Expertise in:

Pricing procedures, condition records, access sequences
-
Sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories
-
Delivery, shipping point determination, route determination
-
Billing types, billing plans, output forms
-
Credit management and availability check
-
Copy control and text determination
-

Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes.

Experience working on SAP S/4HANA SD is highly preferred.

Good knowledge of integration with:

SAP FI (billing postings, revenue accounts, taxes)

SAP MM (ATP, stock checks, delivery processes)
-
LE/WM/EWM (logistics execution and warehouse integration)

Good to Have
-
Experience in S/4HANA implementations / rollouts / support projects.

Exposure to SAP Fiori apps related to SD.

Knowledge of SAP OTC enhancements, user exits, BADI concepts.

SAP SD Certification is a plus.

Experience working with global clients and multiple time zones.
