Job description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Claims Adjuster . In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional inbound customer support by promptly and courteously addressing incoming calls. Your responsibilities will include verifying contract information, accurately entering new claims into the system based on client-specific terms and conditions, and confirming coverage in alignment with established policies and procedures.

Your Impact:

  • Provide inbound customer support by answering incoming calls promptly and courteously.

  • Verify contract information, accurately enter new claims into system based on client specific terms and conditions and confirm coverage in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Review all documentation supporting the claim, proof of ownership, and parts and replacement costs.

  • Issue coverage denials where appropriate or schedule a servicer as needed to handle the damages to the customer’s property.

  • Maintain email box in an efficient and timely manner, responding to customers and vendors as appropriate.

  • Assure quick, accurate and timely processing of customer requests and claims.

Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Knowledge of insurance and warranty policies, underwriting and claim procedures (Preferred)Strong communication and problem-solving skills

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to process information accurately

  • Experience in claims processing or customer service (a plus!) ​

  • Must have experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel

Pay Range:

$17.75 - $18.75 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for this role.
