Roles & Responsibilities

  • 16+ years of professional experience in pricing or finance, with significant focus on large-scale BPO or IT services deals
  • Post-graduate degree (MBA) or equivalent; professional certification such as CA or CFA
  • Strong commercial acumen in Managed Service Pricing, revenue recognition rules, and financial impact of contractual terms
  • Proven leadership with ability to mentor pricing analysts/managers; advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills with automation; familiarity with pricing software

Requirements:

  • Lead financial analysis and structuring of high-profile global deals across the bid lifecycle from qualification to contract closure
  • Develop and manage varied pricing models (FTE-based, transaction-based, outcome-based, fixed-fee) and assess profitability and risk
  • Oversee deal governance and ensure pricing strategies comply with global policies and standard tools; manage PL and cash flow risk
  • Collaborate with Sales and Legal to negotiate commercial terms, drive strategic transformation by incorporating automation and digital tools to improve service delivery efficiency

What can you expect in a “Pricing Head (Senior Director)” role with TaskUs: 

The Senior Director of Pricing will lead a Pricing team of 4-6 individuals for TaskUs overseeing the financial strategy for large-scale, complex international bids across TaskUs. You will act as a primary commercial advisor, designing sustainable pricing models that balance competitive market positioning with the firm’s long-term profitability targets.

Role 

  • Deal Structuring: Lead the financial analysis and structuring of high-profile global deals

  • Commercial Modeling: Develop and manage varied BPO pricing models such as FTE-based, transaction-based, outcome-based, and fixed-fee structures.

  • P&L and Risk Management: Assess deal P&L, cash flow, and financial viability, highlighting potential risks throughout the entire bid lifecycle—from qualification to contract closure.

  • Client Negotiations: Partner with Sales and Legal to lead negotiations on commercial terms and conditions, ensuring they address client business drivers while protecting company margins.

  • Governance & Compliance: Oversee internal deal governance, ensuring all pricing strategies align with global policies and standardized toolsets.

  • Strategic Transformation: Drive initiatives to design "new-age" commercial models, incorporating automation and digital tools to enhance service delivery efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 16+ years of professional experience in pricing or finance, with a significant portion dedicated to large-scale BPO or IT services deals.

  • Education: Post-graduate degree (e.g., MBA) from a top-tier institution or professional certification like CA/CFA.

  • Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of Managed Service Pricing, revenue recognition rules, and the financial impact of various contractual terms.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and guide a team of pricing analysts and managers in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • Tools: Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google sheet (including automation) and familiarity with pricing software and financial modeling tools.

Work Location / Work Schedule / Travel: 

Work from home 

Location: based out of India

Work schedule:  US morning/afternoon  time .

Travel: Minimal
