The role
As part of a team, you will design & implement versatile customer projects in the web and enterprise environment that are tailored to customer needs using modern, agile project methods.
How you’ll make impact
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their business and translate requirements into high quality software. Expect to visit our customers around 2-3 times per week.
- Engage with developers on your team to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code leveraging methodologies such as pair- and mob-programming.
- Coach & support team members to fully unlock their potential and grow as a team.
- Support the entire software lifecycle with your Dev-Ops mentality from ideation to production.
- Automate quality checks right from the start using techniques such as test-driven development and specification by example.
- Continuously keep up to date with the latest technologies & trends and share your knowledge.
What’s important to us
- You have a Bachelor’s degree (FH, Uni, ETH or similar) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- You have more than two years proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and best practices.
- You put the customer first and support the project’s success as a Java Fullstack Engineer with the latest JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as Angular, React or similar frameworks in the frontend.
- You bring expertise with many different technologies, such as Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging, container orchestration, microservices and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.)
- You are experienced in agile methodologies and have worked within agile development teams
- You are an excellent communicator, team player and problem solver and are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
