Job description

Join Capita Public Service as a Senior Learning Services Functional Analyst, supporting the design and delivery of Learning Services for a major client transformation programme.

In this role, you’ll work with the Recruitment & Learning Services Functional Lead to help shape Capita’s Learning Services model. You’ll collaborate with functional teams, contribute to the Service Blueprint and Operating Model, and support the development of SOPs, test scripts and end‑user materials. Your work will play a key part in ensuring a consistent, user‑focused service experience across Capita and our client.

Job Description:

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the creation of Capita’s Learning Services Blueprint and Operating Model

  • Helping develop detailed, user‑centred service designs

  • Participating in client and third‑party workshops

  • Supporting training and testing teams to ensure alignment with service processes

  • Ensuring service design aligns with Capita and ERP solution capabilities

  • Presenting updates in forums and gathering feedback

  • Attending daily stand‑ups and cross‑functional meetings

  • Responding to service design–related queries

  • Supporting quality assurance and compliance checks

  • Contributing to transition planning and early operational rollout

What we’re looking for

Essential experience

  • Service Design and Operating Model experience in Learning Services

  • Experience in shared service or multi‑party delivery environments

  • Understanding of phased transitions and interim operating states

  • Strong problem‑solving and issue‑resolution skills

  • Experience supporting testing and service transition

  • Ability to align service design with system capabilities

Desirable experience

  • Familiarity with GDS methodology

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP

  • Understanding of WCAG 2.2 accessibility standards

  • Background in user‑centric design

  • Awareness of public sector complexity, digital inclusion and ethics
