Roles & Responsibilities

  • 7–10+ years of experience in commercial finance, ecommerce finance, or strategic finance
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • Advanced Excel modeling skills

Requirements:

  • Own end-to-end product-level unit economics across photo output products (prints, books, calendars, wall décor, etc.) including gross margin, shipping margin, and contribution margin modeling; develop end-to-end cost-to-serve frameworks by product, channel, and region; partner with Ops to model fulfillment, shipping, and lab costs
  • Pricing and promotions: evaluate pricing and promotional proposals for margin and contribution impact; model tradeoffs between shipping strategies and thresholds; establish margin guardrails for offers
  • CAC and marketing partnership: collaborate with Growth/Marketing to analyze CAC, conversion, and incrementality; connect acquisition costs to contribution margin and lifetime value; ensure promotional and media strategies align with profitability goals
  • Reporting and future-state enablement: produce dashboards for gross margin, contribution margin, shipping cost per order, and unit economics by product; support weekly and monthly business reviews with actionable insights; enable transition to DTC and design commercial frameworks for Print-to-Retail, marketplace/channel expansion, and international growth, aligned with accounting standards

Position Overview:

Fujifilm is seeking a Commercial Finance Lead to support its growing Digital Commerce and Photo Products business, including with photos storefronts, Print-to-Retail initiatives, and direct-to-consumer (DTC) expansion. This position will report to the Vice President, Digital Commerce.

This role will own end-to-end commercial economics, partnering closely with cross-functional teams to drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly analytical, and comfortable operating in a fast-evolving ecommerce environment where pricing, shipping, promotions, and customer acquisition must be balanced holistically.

Responsibilities

 

Commercial & Unit Economics Ownership

  • Build and maintain product-level unit economics across photo output products (prints, books, calendars, wall décor, etc.)
  • Own gross margin, shipping margin, and contribution margin modeling
  • Develop end-to-end cost-to-serve frameworks by product, channel, and region
  • Partner with Ops to understand and model fulfillment, shipping, and lab costs 

Pricing, Promotions & Shipping Strategy

  • Evaluate pricing and promotional proposals for margin and contribution impact
  • Model tradeoffs between free shipping, flat-rate shipping, and thresholds
  • Support shipping strategy decisions with data-driven recommendations
  • Establish margin guardrails and profitability thresholds for offers and campaigns 

Marketing & CAC Partnership

  • Partner with Growth / Marketing teams to analyze CAC, conversion, and incrementality
  • Connect acquisition costs to contribution margin and lifetime value
  • Ensure promotional and media strategies align with profitability goals

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Produce clear, actionable dashboards for:
    • Gross margin
    • Contribution margin
    • Shipping cost per order
    • Unit economics by product
  • Support weekly and monthly business reviews with insights, not just numbers
  • Translate financial analysis into executive-ready recommendations 

Future-State Enablement

  • Support transition from supplier-led model to DTC ownership
  • Help design commercial frameworks for:
    • Print-to-Retail (P2R)
    • Marketplace and partner-led channels
    • International expansion
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership to ensure alignment with accounting and reporting standards

Required Skills/Education

  • 7–10+ years of experience in commercial finance, ecommerce finance, or strategic finance 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience supporting consumer, ecommerce, or physical goods businesses 
  • Strong understanding of unit economics, margin analysis, and CAC 
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority 

Desired Skills

  •  
  • Experience in ecommerce, marketplaces, or omnichannel retail 
  • Exposure to shipping, fulfillment, or supply chain cost modeling 
  • Experience supporting DTC or subscription businesses 
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments
