  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Senior Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts; support testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer, including post-delivery support.
  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and Rimini Street development standards; execute unit tests, assist with defect resolution, and contribute to technical design and continuous improvement.

We are actively seeking a ServiceNow Sr. Associate Developer. This is a remote position and can be based anywhere in Brazil.

Position Summary

The ServiceNow Sr. Associate Developer is responsible for supporting the development, configuration, and evolution of solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

This role contributes to technical implementation activities ensuring adherence to ServiceNow best practices, Rimini Street standards and approved technical guidelines.

The professional works closely with senior developers, architects, and business analysts, supporting the full delivery lifecycle while continuously evolving technical skills and platform knowledge.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and configure basic to intermediate functionalities on the ServiceNow platform following established standards and guidelines

  • Create, update, and maintain Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Notifications, Catalog Items, and related components

  • Support workflow and automation implementations using Flow Designer and legacy workflows when applicable

  • Assist in the development of simple integrations using REST and SOAP under senior supervision

  • Support data modeling activities in tables, catalogs, and CMDB following predefined models

  • Implement data structures and configurations in tables and service catalogs based on technical designs provided by senior team members

  • Participate in technical understanding and clarification of functional requirements

  • Support technical design activities by suggesting alternatives and improvements when appropriate

  • Assist in the preparation and validation of technical estimates

  • Ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and Rimini Street development standards

  • Execute unit tests and support integrated testing activities

  • Register and maintain test evidence and technical documentation

  • Support defect resolution and contribute to prevention of rework

  • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives

  • Work closely with Senior Developers, Architects, and Business Analysts throughout project execution

  • Proactively seek guidance when needed and demonstrate continuous learning mindset

  • Provide support to less experienced team members when acting at the Mid-Level

  • Support technical and functional meetings with customers, under senior guidance

  • Participate in simple technical demonstrations and walkthroughs

  • Support transition and knowledge transfer activities to support teams, including documentation and walkthroughs

  • Assist with post-delivery clarifications and technical support under supervision

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical knowledge sharing

  • Support documentation and knowledge base creation for sustainment teams

  • Other job-related duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields (completed or in progress)

  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are desirable

  • ITIL 4 Foundation certification is a plus

Experience

  • 2 – 4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, and Support.

Qualification & Skills

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and XML

  • Understanding of ITSM concepts and ServiceNow core processes

  • Basic database knowledge, including simple queries and data structures

  • Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments

  • Ability to follow development standards and apply feedback effectively

  • Strong willingness to learn and continuously evolve technical skills

  • Good communication and collaboration skills

  • English proficiency: Intermediate

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with intermediate ServiceNow development and basic integrations

  • Familiarity with Automated Test Framework (ATF)

  • Knowledge of secure development standards and basic platform governance

  • Previous experience supporting enterprise or consulting projects is a plus

Language

  • Fluency in both English & Portuguese is required.
