Job description

Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote, with ability to work partial overlap with PST time zone
Reporting: Reports to the Manager of FP&A and Planning


About the Role
Rove Concepts is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Purchasing Administrator to support our day-to-day purchasing and demand planning operations. Reporting to the Intermediate Purchasing Coordinator, this role plays a key part in ensuring products are ordered accurately, inventory records remain up to date, and purchase orders are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a structured environment. The ideal candidate is proficient in Excel and excels at administrative tasks that require precision and consistency.


What You’ll Do
• Place timely purchase orders with suppliers, maintaining high accuracy and prompt
communication

• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and resolve supply chain issues
• Build, liaison, and maintain strong working relationships with overseas suppliers
• Ensure supplier invoices are received promptly, accurately and reconciles to purchase order placed
• Continuous monitoring and updates of existing purchase orders, shipment tracking, ensuring on-time delivery for pre-orders, stock orders, and custom orders

• Accurately prepare and execute purchase orders on a weekly basis, communicating effectively and professionally with supplier contacts 

• Check accuracy of details on supplier invoices, cross-checking quantities, SKUs, fabrics, and costs
• Maximize order fulfillment through the back-end system by manually reviewing order holds
• Maintain basic knowledge of our product catalogue and SKU structures

• Assist with special projects and administrative tasks as assigned


What You’ll Need

• *Advanced proficiency working in English, both verbal and written*

• *Strong fundamental skills in Excel required*

• At least two years in a similar role or related administrative field

• Highly organized with a very strong attention to detail and accuracy 

• Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage a high volume of tasks

• Great collaboration skills and a team player

• Familiarity working with a North American company and PST time zone is a plus
• Post Secondary Degree/Diploma also an asset
