Job description

Company Overview
Our client is a fast-growing, venture-backed SaaS company helping frontline workers access life-changing benefits like childcare, elder care, and nutrition assistance. Their AI-powered platform connects employees to available government programsβ€”cutting through complexity and delivering support where it matters most.

Used by major retailers, healthcare providers, and Fortune 500 companies, the product is trusted to handle sensitive workflows in regulated environments. The fully remote team is mission-driven, pragmatic, and growing quickly, with strong enterprise backing and a clear expansion path.

Your Role

As a Product Manager, you’ll help shape the future of their platform, guiding cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and operations. You’ll own the lifecycle of key features β€” from discovery to delivery β€” ensuring their solutions are not only innovative and scalable but also accessible, secure, and compliant with HIPAA and SOC 2 standards.

This is a highly collaborative role that blends product strategy, technical fluency, and user advocacy, supporting initiatives across B2B SaaS domains, white-label experiences, integrations with HRIS/payroll systems, and AI-driven automation features.

You’ll:

  • Product Strategy & Discovery

    - Collaborate with leadership, customers, and partners to refine product vision and strategy across our multi-tenant SaaS platform.
    - Conduct discovery sessions to validate customer needs, market opportunities, and program requirements.
    - Translate high-level business goals into actionable roadmaps that deliver measurable impact.

  • Execution & Delivery

    - Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, working closely with engineers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
    - Break down complex workflows (e.g., eligibility screening, income and employment verification, PDF pre-fill, automated workflows) into clear, prioritized backlogs.
    - Use agile best practices (scrum, kanban) to run sprints, stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.

  • Stakeholder Communication

    - Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
    - Clearly communicate priorities, trade-offs, and timelines, balancing customer needs with technical feasibility and compliance requirements.
    - Prepare product briefs, release notes, and training materials for internal teams and clients.

  • Continuous Improvement

    - Monitor feature performance and user behavior to inform iteration and optimization.
    - Collaborate with data and engineering teams to integrate insights from analytics and monitoring platforms (e.g., Datadog, Segment, QuickSight).
    - Stay informed on industry trends in SaaS, benefits technology, and regulatory environments to guide innovation.

You Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management for SaaS platforms or B2B/B2C applications, including experience building or managing AI-powered or AI-integrated products.

  • Proven track record of delivering complex products, ideally in multi-tenant, API-driven, or compliance-sensitive environments.

  • Experience delivering AI/GenAI features end-to-end, including products leveraging LLMs, document processing, intelligent automation, or conversational interfaces.

  • Working knowledge of LLM capabilities and tradeoffs (accuracy, latency, cost, reliability), and experience defining requirements, evaluation metrics, and iteration strategies for AI-driven features.

  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering and data teams to integrate model APIs and AI services into production systems.

  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, and operations teams; ability to lead discussions across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with agile/lean product development processes.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS), APIs, and data integrations (HRIS, payroll, third-party APIs), and automation workflows.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.

  • Experience in early-stage growth startup environments is preferred.

  • Background in engineering, computer science, data science, machine learning, or analytics is a strong bonus.

What’s Offered

  • Fully remote, async-friendly work with flexible hours

  • Competitive hourly USD rate, flexible based on experience and fit

  • A focused, collaborative team that values speed, clarity, and mission impact

  • Growth potential in a fast-scaling SaaS company with a strong emphasis on innovation, security, and customer success.

  • Opportunity to work at the intersection of technology and social impact, building tools that improve access to critical benefits.
