Position Summary

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for growing our presence with gastroenterology groups, large medical organizations, and health systems across the country. This role focuses on expanding adoption of our bowel prep and patient engagement solutions, building strong partnerships, and supporting revenue growth. This person will own the full sales cycle, from prospecting through contracting and onboarding, while working closely with clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders.


We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to support the sales team. This position plays a key role in supporting Sales Operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, operational excellence, and compliance standards.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prospects and identifies new business opportunities 
  • Presents to key stake holders through demos and capability decks
  • Builds relationships with key decision makers
  • Partners cross-functionally with internal teams
  • Tracks sales performance metrics, pipeline, and forecasting in CRM tools
  • Attends relevant conferences, meetings, and networking events
  • Maintains an in-depth understanding of GI practice workflows & challenges

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field (Required)
  • Licensure/Certification: None
  • Experience
  • 3+ years in pharma sales or pharmacy sales (Required)
  • 5+ years in GI specific pharma sales (Preferred)
  • Enterprise and health system sales experience (Preferred)
  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:  
  • Knowledge of healthcare sales and account management fundamentals (Required)
  • Knowledge of gastroenterology specific sales experience. Ideally to large organizations (Preferred)
  • National level pipeline development skills (Required)
  • Ability to work independently and manage remote sales cycles (Required)
  • Ability to develop new markets and territories from scratch (Preferred)

Work Environment

  • Location: Remote
  • Schedule: [Full-time / Part-time; typical hours]
  • 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with night and weekend hours on occasion as determined by the needs of the business.
  • Regular meetings with internal Account Management, Sales Operations, and Operations teams. This role may will also meet with healthcare provider and health systems clients. 

Key Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while writing or reviewing documentation
  • Must be able to work on a computer for the entire shift
  • Must be able to attend virtual meetings with cross-functional teams
