Roles & Responsibilities

  • Understanding of respiratory disease states and clinical application of AirLife products, with familiarity in critical care and anesthesia environments.
  • Minimum 5 years clinical experience (10 years preferred); critical care experience required.
  • Professional license and relevant certifications (e.g., Registered Respiratory Therapist, RN, Paramedic, or Anesthesia Technician).
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills with prior training experience; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Requirements:

  • Collaborates across sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Participates in the creation of AirLife’s evidence plan and conducts research to identify enhancements based on customer feedback.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with key customers; provides training and technical expertise to other departments.
  • Conducts customer and AirLife product training on-site and at trade shows, and leads deployment of user trials or pilot programs.

Job description

This position requires 70% travel. Preference given to candidates who reside in California or Phoenix, AZ.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Clinical Manager for AirLife, you will work across multiple departments within AirLife, with the goal to support the successful use of AirLife products.  Responsibilities include: clinician product training, product evaluations/implementation, training for AirLife personnel, interaction with clinicians for product feedback, answering product questions for end-users, research, interpretation of studies, medical writing, and others duties as appropriate.  You will compile and conduct research on product requirements and identify enhancements to current features and functionality based on customer feedback and opportunities to optimize cost and fulfillment. You will have responsibility for interacting with customers regarding training, product usage, in-services, clinical scenarios wherein AirLife products can/should be used and provide feedback on Sales and Marketing. Keep detailed logs and notes of customer training sessions and conversations.  Develop the company’s strategic evidence plan including the contracting, budgeting and execution of trials, white papers, posters and advertorials.
 

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge: Understanding of respiratory disease states, clinical application of AirLife products, familiarity with critical care and anesthesia environments, a solid understanding of the field of Respiratory Care and the application of therapies.

Level of Experience: 

  • Minimal 5 years clinical experience, 10 years preferred.  Critical Care experience required.

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist, RN, Paramedic, Anesthesia Technician

  • Excellent Public speaking and presentation skills, prior training experience a plus.

  • Computer proficiency in all Microsoft office applications.

Level of Education: 

  • Professional license

Travel: >70%


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with a wide variety of functional areas such as sales, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, and operations to develop and provide product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
  • Participation in the creation of AirLife’s evidence plan.
  • Produce competitive analysis materials comparing product with its key competitors.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key customers.
  • Provides technical expertise and training to other departments.
  • Responsible for ensuring that customer requirements are met including deployment of user trials or pilot sales programs.
  • Conducts research on product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality based on customer feedback.
  • Conducts Customer and AirLife product training on-site and at trade shows.
