Job description

Ready to revolutionize healthcare, making it faster and more accessible than ever before?

How we started:

Founded in 2013 by Dwayne D’Souza, HeliosX was built on a simple but powerful idea: healthcare should be easier to access, faster to receive, and centred around the individual. From day one, we’ve grown without external funding; scaling profitably through technology, disciplined execution, and deep medical expertise. What started as a challenger idea has become one of the most significant healthcare platforms operating globally today.

Where we are now:

We’ve earned the trust of millions of people worldwide through category-leading products and well-known brands, including MedExpress, Dermatica, ZipHealth, RocketRX, and Levity. A key driver of our success is vertical integration; we operate our own manufacturing and proprietary products, led by in-house medical teams, researchers, and pharmacists at the top of their fields.

In 2025, HeliosX treated more than 1.7 million patients globally and reached £781m in revenue, representing +337% year-on-year growth and cementing our position as the clear market leader in the UK. That growth translates into real-world outcomes: our weight-loss treatments helped patients lose 8.5 million kilograms of excess weight in 2025 alone, contributing to an estimated 1,300 fewer cardiac events. This is growth with measurable, life-changing impact at scale.

Today, we operate across four international markets, with successful launches in Germany and Canada and continued expansion in the US. We were also recently recognised in the Sunday Times Top 100 fastest-growing tech companies, further validation of both our momentum and our ambition.

Where we’re going:

2026 is a step-change year. Our ambition is to reach £1.6bn in revenue, expand from four to eight global markets and significantly broaden our condition and treatment portfolio. Over the coming years, you’ll help shape HeliosX into a truly world-leading healthcare partner; one that combines scale, speed, and clinical rigour to redefine how personalised care is delivered. Joining HeliosX now means building systems, teams, and products that will define the next decade of digital healthcare, and doing work that genuinely improves lives, at global scale.

There’s never been a more exciting time to join HeliosX. Come be a part of making our dream of easier and faster healthcare a reality!

We are seeking a Talent Advisor to provide experience led, commercial insight on the talent, workforce and employment viability of international physical operations within the Canadian market.

This is a one-off advisory engagement (up to 4 hours), followed by a debrief call. The role is strategic and judgement-based, relying on existing international market expertise rather than primary research or recruitment delivery.

The output of this work will directly inform market entry decisions, site location strategy and workforce model design across regulated and non-regulated operational environments.

Scope:

1. Talent Pool Viability - International Physical Operations

Provide informed, practical insight into where talent can be realistically sourced, sustained and scaled across international markets for:

  • Clinical: Nurse Practitioners, Doctors

Including:

  • Geographic concentration of relevant talent pools within countries
  • Known supply and demand dynamics by market
  • Markets with structural shortages or oversupply
  • Practical considerations impacting physical operations (mobility, commute norms, competition)
  • Channels and ecosystems where these talent pools are typically accessed (e.g. LinkedIn, Indeed, agency-led markets)

  1. Workforce Behaviour & Cultural Norms

Advise on country-specific workforce behaviours relevant to site-based operations, including:

  • Appetite for shift-based work (nights, weekends, rotating patterns)
  • Expectations around flexibility, overtime and scheduling
  • Cultural differences between regulated healthcare and logistics workforces
  • Factors impacting attraction, engagement and retention in physical, on-site environments

3. Unions, Professional Bodies & Worker Representation

Share insight into organised labour and professional representation across markets, including:

  • Relevant unions and professional bodies for:
    • Clinical and pharmacy staff
    • Fulfilment and warehouse workforces
  • Typical levels of union presence and influence by country
  • Expected employer interaction and engagement norms
  • Known sensitivities or industrial relations risks when launching or scaling sites

4. Pay & Reward Insight

Provide market-informed pay guidance across international markets for:

  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Doctors
  • Pharmacists
  • Warehouse and fulfilment roles

Including:

  • Typical pay ranges and regional variance within countries
  • Shift premiums and unsocial hours norms
  • Market pressure points that materially impact hiring, retention and site viability

Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in the recruitment or workforce advisory space, operating at a senior or strategic advisory level
  • Demonstrated experience across both permanent and contractor models
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law and labour market dynamics, ideally across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proven experience within regulated clinical recruitment markets
  • Proven experience within logistics / fulfilment environments, particularly warehouse-based operations
  • Experience supporting international expansion, market entry or multi-country operations
  • Experience advising senior operational leaders (e.g. COO, Operations, Clinical Leadership) on workforce feasibility and risk
