Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university at the time of internship
Required cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
Successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I
Working knowledge of PC with high proficiency in Excel

Requirements:

Learn to perform duties as an Accountant focusing on General Ledger accounting and budgeting under general supervision
Meet regularly with the VP Accounting to discuss progress
Internship will start Summer 2026 with an expected start date of May 18, 2026 and orientation on May 20, 2026, at competitive pay starting at $20/hr
This internship is fully remote with the option to work from Grow Financial’s HQ or retail locations; eligibility requires enrollment at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or University of South Carolina; no F-1 or J-1 sponsorship

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, learns to perform duties as an Accountant progressing with a General Ledger Accounting/Budget focus. Additionally, meets on a regular basis with the VP Accounting to discuss progress.

Internship to start Summer 2026.

Competitive pay starting at $20/hr.

Must be enrolled at University of South Florida, University of Tampa, or Univeristy of South Carolina to qualify for a Grow Financial internship.

Start date Monday, May 18th/ Orientation Wednesday, May 20th, 2026.

We do not interview or hire students in F-1 or J-1 status and will not sponsor them for work visas.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

Must be currently enrolled as a student with a degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.at time of internship.
Required Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
Successful completion of Intermediate Accounting I
Working knowledge of office equipment, including PC.
Must have high proficiency in Excel.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
Must be able to read, write, speak and type English.
Must be able to hear and use a telephone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Sedentary role.
This role is fully remote, with the option to work from our HQ or retail locations.
Must be able and willing to collaborate on camera via Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx.
Standard Business hours are 8:00am- 5:00pm, Monday- Friday
Interns will have flexibility around school schedules. Please note schedule will not exceed 29hrs/week
