Roles & Responsibilities

  • Proficiency with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx; HTML/CSS; experience building responsive single-page applications with strong UI/UX understanding.
  • Strong experience with the .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#, including designing and consuming RESTful APIs and ORM usage (e.g., Entity Framework); SQL Server knowledge.
  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban); proficient with Git; strong problem-solving and communication; ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent; eligibility to obtain DoD IAT 2 certification or higher; U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain SSBI or equivalent.

Requirements:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications with a focus on intuitive, responsive Angular front-ends and integrated back-end services.
  • Translate complex requirements into high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to back-end API design, data models, and business logic using C# and .NET.
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs; work with SQL Server and ORM tools; ensure security and quality in deliverables.
  • Participate in Agile processes (Scrum/Kanban); collaborate with cross-functional teams; emphasize usability, security, and teamwork.

Job description

Avineon is actively seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Web Application Developer to join our dynamic team supporting a critical Department of War (DoW) contract. The ideal candidate is a passionate developer with a strong emphasis on front-end development using Angular, who is also comfortable working with the .NET framework for back-end services. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated web applications that directly support mission-critical objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary focus of this position will be on crafting intuitive and responsive user interfaces with Angular, ensuring a seamless and effective user experience. You will translate complex requirements into high-quality, maintainable code. You will also be expected to contribute to the design and implementation of back-end APIs, data models, and business logic using C# and .NET. Knowledge of SQL is a plus. The development team leverages Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, to deliver robust and user-centric solutions. A commitment to quality, security, and teamwork is essential for success in this role.

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Development:
    • Extensive professional experience with Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx.
    • Proficiency in HTML, CSS.
    • Experience building responsive and intuitive single page web applications.
    • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
    • Solid experience with the .NET Framework/.NET Core and C#.
    • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
    • Familiarity with Entity Framework or other ORMs.
    • Knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Methodology and General Skills:
    • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile framework (Scrum and/or Kanban).
    • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Desired Skills:
    • Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., MSTest, NUnit).
    • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with Node.js for tooling, build processes, or scripting.
    • Knowledge of secure coding practices and DoD security standards.
    • Experience in creating accessible websites (Section 508)

  • Education and Certification Requirements:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
    • Must be able to obtain a DoD IAT 2 certification or higher required (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP)
  • Security Clearance Requirement:
    • Must be a United States citizen currently residing within the contiguous United States.
    • United States citizenship required in order to obtain U.S. federal government security clearance.
    • Must be able to obtain Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or equivalent.

  • Work Location:
    • Full-time – 100% Remote within the contiguous U.S.
