Security Analyst

Role overview
You will join our Threat Intelligence team in Mexico, reporting to the Head of Threat Intelligence, and work closely with an experienced regional lead analyst to deliver high-quality, client-focused services.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong interest in security who is keen to build a career in a fast-moving part of the telecoms industry. You will bring excellent attention to detail, take pride in producing accurate work, and communicate confidently with clients, both on technical topics and commercial considerations.

This role offers a strong learning and development path, with the chance to grow your skills, broaden your understanding of the telecoms landscape, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Enea’s security products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain security solutions on Enea client platform

• Keep up to date with the telecoms threat landscape

• Analyse data collected from customer deployments to identify and investigate threats

• Provide security reviews for Enea clients; independently field client questions and manage client expectations.

• Work on your own initiative, with minimal supervision, but with the support of a team lead and global team of analysts.

• Some shift work (Saturday or Sunday) will be required for this role

Qualifications:

• BSc degree in computer science or telecoms-related field

Key Skills & Competence:

• BSc degree in computer science or telecoms-related field

• Fluent in English

• A strong interest in telecoms and security technology

• Knowledge of working in a Unix/Linux environment

• Basic familiarity with SQL/Database concepts

• Ability to communicate concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences

• Experience with messaging systems and architectures.

• Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP and DNS

• Understanding of GSM network fundamentals.

• Knowledge of shell scripting or a scripting language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Perl)
