We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to join our dynamic team and help us design, build, and optimize our data ecosystem and analytics capabilities.

We are looking for a visionary leader who can drive our enterprise-wide data strategy and transform how we leverage data to deliver customer value, operational excellence, and digital innovation. As a key member within Fugro, you will steer the development of scalable, secure, and insightful data ecosystems that power our advisory services and direct deployments.

Your Role

  • You provide vision, guidance, and leadership to shape Fugro’s data environment;

  • You translate Fugro’s data vision into a forward-looking, enterprise-wide data strategy and roadmap;

  • You develop and implement scalable data architecture and governance models that ensure integrity, security, and usability;

  • You lead and evolve Fugro’s data ecosystem to support:

    • Strategic management and optimization of operational data processes;

    • Adaptive data platform designs, aligned with business needs;

    • Advanced analytics and data science-driven insights;

  • You empower internal stakeholders and enhance customer advisory capabilities;

  • You represent data strategy within the Strategy and Transformation team;

  • You develop and lead high-performing data teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Your Track Record

  • You hold a minimum MSc degree and demonstrate logical, structured thinking, with deep expertise in data governance and a strong focus on enterprise data;

  • You have successfully held a similar role and led enterprise-wide data initiatives;

  • You are familiar with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, or Microsoft Synapse;

  • You have a proven ability to gain deep customer insights and build solutions that exceed expectations;

  • You have strong leadership skills, can delegate effectively, and drive accountability;

  • You are skilled in balancing stakeholder interests and navigating complex decision-making environments;

  • You are technologically fluent and have a strong grasp of data platforms, analytics, and emerging technological trends;

  • You are a business-technology translator, able to convert business needs into technical solutions and actionable use cases.
