Overview:

Summary

The Electrician is responsible for providing electrical work with installing, repairing and maintaining electrical set ups; and reads blueprints to assist in working with electrical systems to include making repairs and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

Essential Functions

  • Applies electrical work in a commercial setting
  • Reads and interprets blueprints
  • Cuts, bends, threads and runs electrical conduit materials
  • Pulls electrical wiring through electrical conduit s
  • Terminates electrical panels, sets fixtures, outlets and various electrical devices
  • Installs and connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets or other components and systems
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to install electrical systems in a commercial environment and read and interpret blueprints
  • Full understanding of safety procedures and the basics of electrical circuits
  • Basic hand tools (power tools and 6-foot ladder plus)
  • Familiarity with NEC Standards and electrical codes
  • Consent to a pre-employment background and drug screen
  • Certifications and or state licensing
  • Electrical Code
  • Safety and QA
  • Wiring Diagrams
  • Experience with schools/ education environment

Pay Range

$30.00 - $33.00/hour

Base pay ranges are estimated. Actual base pay will be based on education, experience, location, certifications, skill set, and any other relevant factors. Incentive/variable pay opportunities are in addition to base pay.
