Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 8+ years of equivalent experience; 5+ years designing cloud microservices architectures.
  • 4+ years of professional development with .NET Core / MVC / C# and React (class and functional components).
  • 2+ years of TypeScript experience (including generics), scripting (PowerShell or Bash), unit tests (C#/JavaScript), and AWS services (Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Amplify, Step Functions); Docker experience.
  • Experience mentoring/managing junior developers; strong Git/GitHub proficiency; familiarity with MediatR, Redux (Toolkit/Saga), Material UI; SQL Server data modeling; familiarity with Identity Server or 3rd party IdP (e.g., Cognito or Auth0).

  • Quality Assurance & DevOps: Implement unit and integration tests; manage code repositories and CI/CD pipelines; oversee deployments across development, staging, and production environments; document system architecture and APIs.

What You Will Do:

  • Front-End Development: Build and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue). Ensure seamless user experiences by translating design mockups into clean, functional code.
  • Back-End Development: Develop and optimize server-side logic, APIs, and microservices. Ensure application security, scalability, and efficient data processing between the server and the frontend.
  • Database Design: Design and manage data models for both SQL and NoSQL databases. Optimize queries for performance and ensure data integrity and security across the application ecosystem.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain Unit and Integration testing suites to ensure code reliability. Identify and resolve bugs early in the development lifecycle to maintain a high standard of software quality.
  • DevOps & Lifecycle: Manage Code repos and deployments using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Oversee the deployment process to ensure smooth releases across development, staging, and production environments.
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear Technical documentation, including API documentation, system architecture maps, and readme files to support team collaboration and future scalability.
Requirements

What Skills You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 8 years+ equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience designing cloud microservices architectures
  • 4+ years of: professional development experience, Net Core / MVC / C#, React experience (class components and functional components)
  • 2+ years of: Typescript experience (including generics), scripting language of choice (Powershell, bash, etc), writing C# and Javascript Unit Tests, AWS (Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, Amplify, Step Functions), writing IaC, preferably in CDK or SAM, Entity Framework experience, experience using Docker
  • 2+ years of mentorship/managing of junior developers. This refers to having direct accountability of the output and results of junior developers.
  • Experience with MediatR library
  • Experience working with Redux, Redux Toolkit, or Redux Saga
  • Experience working with Material UI library, for React
  • MS SQL relational database design and querying
  • Git & Github expert. Must be comfortable with git commands, from the command line
  • Have integrated 1 or more production applications with Identity Server or 3rd party SaaS IdP, such as AWS Cognito or Auth0
  • Provide meaningful code reviews, leading to quality increase in code & overall developer growth

What is Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
  • Knowledge of Helm for package management and deployment in Kubernetes environments.
  • Familiarity with Argo CD for continuous deployment and GitOps workflows.
  • Interest in AI-driven solutions and their applications in software development.
  • Experience modernizing legacy stacks and migrating to modern architectures.
