With a focus on collaborative, client-centered solutions, they deliver high-standard engineering and certification services for projects of all sizes and complexities. Their approach emphasizes safety, integrity, timeliness, and budget-conscious delivery.

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is suited for professionals who can work independently, apply Australian Standards confidently, anddeliver technically sound, buildable designs with minimal supervision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and analyse residential and commercial building structures in compliance with Australian Standards (AS/NZS).
  

• Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.
  

• Perform structural analysis and design using:
  

• Hyne Timber Design Software
  

• SkyCiv
  

• SpaceGass
  

• Produce accurate and detailed structural drawings and construction details using AutoCAD.
  

• Coordinate with Australian-based engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure alignment across disciplines.
  

• Ensure designs are structurally sound, buildable, compliant, and cost-effective.
  

• Revise and update designs in response to authority feedback, client comments, and construction constraints.
  

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines and quality standards.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Structural Drafting, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for structural documentation.
  

• Working knowledge of Australian building codes and structural standards.
  

• Experience using structural analysis and timber design software (Hyne, SkyCiv, SpaceGass preferred).
  

• Ability to interpret engineering calculations and translate them into clear, accurate drawings.
  

• Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  

• Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with remote and onshore teams.
