Job description

Location: This position is remote within Colombia

As a Senior Operations Specialist at Huge, you are a strategic consultant within our global infrastructure team. While you possess a deep mastery of our core systems— your true value lies in your ability to navigate the "gray areas" of agency operations. You don’t just take orders; you partner with senior stakeholders to understand their business challenges and propose innovative, scalable solutions. This role requires a high degree of autonomy, data literacy, and a sophisticated understanding of the agency project lifecycle to drive broader operational initiatives from conception to completion.

What You’ll Be Doing

Consultative Problem Solving & Initiatives

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as an internal consultant to Program and Delivery leads, identifying the "problem behind the ask" and suggesting alternative workflows that improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • End-to-End Project Management: Own and lead small-to-mid-sized operational projects, from initial scoping and stakeholder alignment to system implementation and global rollout.
  • Autonomous Decision-Making: Navigate complex, non-standard operational issues with minimal supervision, making informed decisions that balance system integrity with business urgency.

Advanced Systems & Financial Stewardship

  • Agency Lifecycle Oversight: Apply deep financial literacy to manage project rates, margin tracking, and revenue recognition workflows within our enterprise tools.
  • High-Level Infrastructure Governance: Oversee complex permission structures and architectural updates within Kanata, Jira, and Salesforce, ensuring the ecosystem scales with the business.
  • Process Engineering: Proactively identify friction points in the agency lifecycle (from pitch to wrap) and design systemic improvements to streamline the flow of work.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Operational Advocacy: Serve as a subject matter expert for broader company initiatives, ensuring operational requirements are represented in global strategy discussions.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and "escalation support" for junior Operations Specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity and customer service excellence.
  • Change Management: Lead the creation of sophisticated training materials and facilitate workshops to drive the adoption of new tools or processes across the agency.

What we'd like to see

  • 4 to 6 years of experience within operations, program management, or a support center within a fast-paced agency or professional services environment.
  • Financial and Data Acumen: A strong understanding of agency commercials, including billability, utilization, project margins, and the financial impact of resource data.
  • Consultative Mindset: Experience moving beyond "ticket processing" to influence stakeholders and drive value through strategic recommendations.
  • Systems Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Kanata and Jira, with significant exposure to Salesforce and NetSuite architectural logic.
  • Autonomy: Ability to manage clear cut tasks while excelling in "gray area" problem-solving situations where a playbook may not exist.
  • Communication Excellence: The ability to communicate complex operational changes to organizational audiences, from junior creatives to executive leadership.
