  • Lead financial stewardship: budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, risk management, and financial performance oversight
  • Build and lead high-performing teams and external relationships: mentor staff, drive succession planning, and manage relationships with clients, suppliers, regulators, and strategic partners

The General Manager, Thailand Diagnostics Platform is an exciting role who will provide general management leadership of all business activities and Go-to-market initiatives for Thailand. The leader will develop existing business, identify new business opportunities, emerging trends and respond to the market and competitive dynamics with profitable, differentiated business strategies. As a key leader of Southeast Asia Diagnostics platform, the incumbent will actively develop strategies, lead initiatives and develop and manage a strong team.

This position reports to the Vice President, Strategic High Growth Markets and is part of the Danaher Corporation family located in Thailand and will be an on-site role.  

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies aligned with corporate goals, driving revenue growth, market expansion, and cross-entity collaboration.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, monitor KPIs, and implement systems to improve productivity and quality.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization while ensuring compliance and mitigating financial risks.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, foster a culture of innovation and accountability, and drive succession planning.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulators; represent the organization externally; and manage strategic partnerships.
  • Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate operational, financial, legal, and reputational risks while ensuring full regulatory compliance.
  • Synergy & Alignment: Promote collaboration across internal teams and business entities to maximize strategic alignment and efficiency.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience with at least 15 years in senior management roles within multinational corporations, with a track record of success in managing multiple business units or entities.
  • Strong business acumen. Hands-on, able to think strategically, but also able to translate this into operational roadmaps and implement on a timely manner
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Solid understanding of financial management and performance metrics.
  • Strong communication skills & problem solving, structuring and analytical skills. Data driven, able to derive key insights that drive strategic decisions.
  • Experience in change management and driving organizational transformation.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements

  • Ability to travel about 40%

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Experience in Diagnostics or Medical Equipment.
