Job description

Geospatial and Remote Sensing Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Manages the planning, design, and application of geospatial tools to support research and develop military operations. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts. Contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision, Mentors or supervises employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 11+ years of experience with geospatial technology and applications supporting the DoD or the Intelligence Community

  • Experience with Esri tools, applications, and support

  • Experience in project management

  • Knowledge of underground facilities or hard and deeply buried targets

  • Knowledge of mapping software, data science, or data analytics

  • Knowledge of platform-agnostic applications

  • Ability to work as an integral member of a client delivery team to solve complex engineering or targeting problems

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Geospatial field

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with data science, AI, or machine learning

  • Experience with geospatial applications to counter WMD

  • Knowledge of Maximo and geospatial asset management

  • Ability to collaborate, build relationships across a team matrix environment

  • Ability to navigate deadlines and have excellent time management skills

  • Master's degree

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
