Job description

Overview:

United Community is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Loan Operations Analyst to support reporting, data management, and operational insights across all Loan Operations functions. This role plays a critical part in analyzing complex data, developing reporting solutions, and supporting departmental needs related to mergers/conversions, regulatory exams, audits, and compliance. The Loan Operations Analyst will partner closely with Loan Operations leadership and the Chief Data Office to design and deliver data‑driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support informed decision‑making.

What You’ll Do:
  • Analyze large and complex data sets, identifying trends and key drivers of business performance.
  • Design and develop reports to visually communicate insights to stakeholders across Loan Operations.
  • Collaborate with teams across the department to understand data needs and coordinate with the Chief Data Office to implement customized reporting solutions.
  • Interpret data visualizations and present insights and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Develop and maintain data quality standards to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems.
  • Assist in facilitating nonPMO project meetings, including regular status meetings and working sessions.
  • Assist in building and executing nonPMO project plans, timelines, and resource coordination.
  • Support data and reporting needs tied to mergers/conversions, regulatory reviews, audits, compliance requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Support project team members with responsibilities and deliverables throughout assigned projects.
  • Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/AML training, as well as internal and external training programs, online trainings, meetings, and seminars.
  • Perform other duties as assigned; responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
Requirements For Success:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
  • 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role strongly preferred; experience in Financial Services or Loans is a plus.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and serve as a liaison with IT teams.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, SQL, Business Analytics, Workflow tools, and related analytical applications.
  • Strong focus on service, quality, and timely delivery; ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent timemanagement, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Positive, selfmotivated attitude with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes.
  • Demonstrated ability to convert business reporting needs into sustainable reporting solutions.
  • Strong problemsolving abilities, including the ability to identify issues and recommend actionable solutions.
Conditions of Employment:
  • Must pass a background and credit check.
  • This is a full-time, non-remote position.

Pay Range: USD $42,061.00 - USD $64,465.00 /Yr.
