Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or related field (higher level of education beneficial).
  • Minimum 3 years of field sales experience, preferably with laboratory/process-based Life Science background.
  • Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC/CRM tools; strong software skills (e.g., Microsoft Office).
  • Bilingual English and Spanish with willingness and ability to travel frequently; excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Promote BioProcess products and services within the assigned territory to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy.
  • Actively use SFDC to manage leads, opportunities, and all customer interactions, and analyze SFDC data to identify trends and track sales performance.
  • Develop and implement account plans, coordinate required resources, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and coordinate marketing activities to build long-term customer relationships.

Job description

The Field Account Manager will be responsible for all sales results of mid-size and large accounts in Mexico and for developing strong customer relations according to the organizational strategy for the assigned customer base.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Promote the organization's BioProcess products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range or key account to achieve sales and revenue targets

  • Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy

  • Actively use SFDC to manage and document leads and opportunities, all customer interactions and sales activities ensuring that all customer and opportunity information is up-to-date and accurately entered in the CRM system

  • Analyze SFDC data for assigned customers to identify trends, generate customer insights and track sales performance

  • Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity

  • Assess and analyze customer needs, generate leads, respond to customer inquiries and suggest products and services as appropriate

  • Develop and implement account plans and request and coordinate resources in line with the account plans

  • Work closely with cross functional team to create higher market perception and successful strategies to gain business from an account

  • Coordinate and participate in marketing activities in assigned territory

  • Frequently assess the potential of each customer and plan to realize it into business

  • Manage and build strong customer relationships for long term partnership

Qualification & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, engineering or a related field (higher level of education would be beneficial)

  • Minimum 3 years field sales experience, with preferable laboratory / process-based experience in Life Science

  • Hands-on knowledge and proactive usage of SFDC and other CRM tools

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility

  • Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams

  • Bilingual - English and Spanish

  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently

  • Proven software skills, e.g. Microsoft Office
