This is a remote position.
We are representing a growing EPC contractor and ICP specialising in energy infrastructure and renewable projects across the UK – including Solar, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), Heavy Industrial, and Carbon Capture developments.
They’re currently looking to add a Tendering Engineer to support the delivery of accurate and competitive tender submissions for large-scale energy projects ranging from LV up to 400kV.
Key Responsibilities:
â Assist in reviewing technical tender documentation (specs, drawings, BOQs, contracts etc.)
â Support in producing cost estimates using industry tools such as Bluebeam or Causeway
â Coordinate supplier and subcontractor enquiries and analyse quotations
â Work closely with internal teams and clients to meet submission deadlines
â Contribute to tender clarifications and launch activities
â Help prepare documentation for handovers to project delivery teams
â Provide data for cost reporting and margin monitoring
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
â 1–3 years’ experience in estimating or tendering within energy or construction
â Degree in engineering, quantity surveying, or similar field
â Familiarity with estimating software (Bluebeam, Causeway, or similar)
â Good understanding of contract forms like JCT, FIDIC, NEC
â Excellent numeracy, communication, and organisational skills
â Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Salary: Up to £70K
