You will work in a mixed audit, accounts and tax capacity, where roughly 20% - 25% of your position will be in audit. Our client is even open to training an
Accounts Senior or Manager, who may be interested in building a career in audit. You will be responsible for:
Provide accountancy and taxation advice and support to clients as necessary.
Conduct client meetings for the presentation of final draft accounts.
Manage and review the work of a team of part-qualified accountants.
Lead audits from planning through to completion, liaising with the junior members of the team, and the client where necessary.
Host and conduct pre-audit and post-audit meetings with clients.
Mentor the team -- reviewing their work and encouraging prompt and high-quality delivery and service.
Develop and expand the team’s skillset through development plans and training and support.
Requirements
• Be ACA or ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, or qualified by experience • Have a minimum of years practical experience in a similar practice based role.
• Exposure to FRS 102. • Proven experience planning, undertaking and finalising a variety of statutory audit assignments • Proven experience in drafting and finalising corporation tax computations for a variety of companies
• Good awareness of other aspects of OMB taxation (VAT, employment and personal taxes)
Benefits
£40,000 - £55,000 dependent on
experience and background, negotiable.
