Roles & Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud) and experience with integrations, APIs, and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft).

  • Establish end-to-end business processes supported by Salesforce, define governance models, system architecture, and integration strategies, and continuously optimize for efficiency, compliance, and user experience.
  • Define and implement delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) for Salesforce projects, oversee release management, testing, deployment, and monitor platform performance for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Salesforce license allocation, optimization, budgeting, and collaborate with procurement and finance to negotiate contracts and maximize ROI.

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Platform Lead to oversee the strategic introduction, governance, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role will ensure that Salesforce is embedded as a core enterprise platform, with well-defined processes, systems, and efficient delivery models that drive business growth, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Introduction & Enablement

  • Lead the introduction and positioning of Salesforce as the core enterprise platform for CRM and business process automation.

  • Champion Salesforce adoption across the organization, ensuring stakeholders understand its capabilities and value.

  • Define clear onboarding processes, standards, and frameworks for new teams and functions leveraging Salesforce.

Process & Systems Definition

  • Establish and document end-to-end business processes supported by Salesforce, ensuring consistency and scalability.

  • Design governance models, system architecture, and integration strategies that align with enterprise standards.

  • Continuously evaluate and refine processes to maximize efficiency, compliance, and user experience.

Efficient Delivery & Execution

  • Define and implement delivery methodologies (Agile, DevOps, CI/CD) tailored for Salesforce projects.

  • Ensure efficient release management, testing, and deployment practices to deliver high-quality solutions at speed.

  • Monitor platform performance and delivery outcomes, driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

License & Cost Management

  • Oversee Salesforce license allocation, ensuring optimal usage and cost-effectiveness across business units.

  • Regularly review license consumption, identify underutilized licenses, and recommend adjustments to maximize ROI.

  • Manage development budgets, track project costs, and ensure financial transparency in platform initiatives.

  • Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to negotiate vendor contracts and optimize licensing agreements.

Solution Design & Optimization

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions that balance configuration and customization.

  • Oversee integrations with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and process alignment.

  • Stay ahead of Salesforce releases and innovations, proactively introducing new features to enhance delivery efficiency.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define priorities, manage expectations, and deliver value-driven outcomes.

  • Act as the trusted advisor for Salesforce strategy, process optimization, and delivery excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven expertise in Salesforce architecture, administration, and development.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect) strongly preferred.
