The Role: Assistant Asset Manager
This role supports a UK-based Residential Property Manager in the day-to-day running of a varied property portfolio. The Assistant Asset Manager will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative and operational support across tenancy management, compliance, contractor coordination, and digital systems. You will become a fully integrated member of the UK team, attending weekly video calls and working in close collaboration with your colleagues abroad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Minimum 1–2 years experience in property management, administration, or operations support
  • Handle calls and emails from tenants, landlords, and contractors professionally
  • Prepare and send tenancy renewals and track lease end dates
  • Coordinate property inspections and track follow-up actions
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work with contractors
  • Maintain digital compliance records (gas safety, fire safety, HMO licenses)
  • Support tenancy lifecycle tasks such as check-ins, check-outs, and deposit tracking
  • Ensure property management systems are up to date and accurate
  • Assist with document control, report preparation, and digital filing
  • Attend weekly video meetings and maintain close communication with the UK team

About You

  • 1–2 years experience in a relevant support or property role
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Reliable internet and ability to work UK core hours
  • Positive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
  • Exposure to property/facilities admin and tools like Reapit or Fixflo (desirable)
  • Familiarity with UK lettings or HMO compliance (a plus, training provided)
