  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting, quoting, and deal registration to final closure.

Job Title: Account Executive (IT Hardware, Software & Services)

Job Overview: Our client, a premier Montreal-based IT distributor, is seeking a dynamic and highly-driven Account Executive to join their expanding sales team. This role focuses on building and managing a robust portfolio of IT reseller partners (VARs, MSPs, and Solution Providers), as well as through Direct to End-User Organizations, driving revenue through the sale of a wide range of hardware, software licensing, and value-added services. The ideal candidate will have a proven "hunter" mentality and a track record of success within the IT channel (Distributor, VAR, or Vendor) or Direct to End-User.

This is a career-defining opportunity for a top-tier sales professional, as our client offers one of the most aggressive and lucrative uncapped commission plans in the Canadian IT distribution industry.

Location: This role may be located in Montreal, Quebec, working from the head office with travel to partner sites as required OR may be located in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), working remotely, with the expectation of travel to partner sites as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Territory Development & Partner Recruitment: Proactively identify, recruit, and onboard new IT reseller partners within your assigned territory.

  • Revenue Generation: Drive and grow revenue streams across the full portfolio of hardware (servers, storage, networking, endpoints), software licensing, and professional services.

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders within partner accounts, from sales reps to executives, to ensure loyalty and growth.

  • Partner Consultation: Act as a trusted advisor, understanding your partners' business needs and market challenges to proactively recommend solutions that help them win.

  • Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the entire sales process from prospecting, quoting, and deal registration to final closure, ensuring a smooth and efficient partner experience.

  • Sales Target Achievement: Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.

  • Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide accurate, timely sales forecasts using the company CRM.

  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal product managers, technical teams, and operations staff to ensure partner satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Professional Experience: At least 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience, specifically within the IT channel (Distributor, large VAR/MSP, or Vendor).

  • Sales Acumen: A proven "hunter" mentality with a verifiable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of IT hardware (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo, Cisco) and major software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft CSP, security, virtualization).

  • Communication Mastery: Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, adept at building rapport and closing deals.

  • Adaptability and Drive: Self-motivated, highly organized, and proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, independent, and results-oriented environment.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience) is preferred.

  • Language (Asset): Bilingual (French/English) is a significant asset, especially for candidates based in Montreal.

  • Asset: A pre-existing book of relationships with IT resellers in Quebec or Ontario.
