State licensure as an Occupational Therapist (Oklahoma)
CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Graduate of an accredited school with a BS, MS, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience: None required; 6 months or greater preferred
Requirements:
Provide patient care based on a total assessment and written evaluation appropriate for the patient’s need and medical condition, in compliance with hospital and physical therapy department policy and procedures
Assist in the department’s performance improvement plan and the hospital’s commitment to continuous quality improvement
Maintain and improve occupational therapy knowledge and skills by conducting staff in-services and attending continuing education courses
Demonstrate good communication skills and computer skills and adhere to the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and Code of Ethics established by the AOTA

The Registered Occupational Therapist provides patient care based upon a total assessment and written evaluation that is appropriate for the patient’s need and medical condition and provides such care in compliance with hospital and physical therapy department policy and procedures. The licensed Therapist will also assist in the department’s performance improvement plan and the hospital’s commitment to continuous quality improvement. The therapist assumes responsibility for maintaining and improving occupational therapy knowledge and skills by conducting staff in-services and attending continuing education courses. Good communication skills and computer skills, and adherence to the Standards of Practice for Occupational Therapy and Code of Ethics established by the AOTA.
