Job description

This is a remote position.

The Bellum Group is sourcing candidates for prestigious national wholesale brokerage and managing general agency that has an excellent opportunity for a Producer/Broker and Associate Producer/Broker roles.


We are sourcing multiple candidates for both remote and onsite positions.

This role will have the opportunity to work closely with an experienced Producer/Broker to learn the ropes.


The company is at the forefront of technology in their industry. Their in-house IT teams in Pennsylvania manage cutting-edge proprietary and third-party systems to drive efficiency in sales operations. Candidates can expect to work with modern tools and platforms.



Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain underwriting files, review policies, inspections, endorsements

  • Understand markets and underwriting guidelines

  • Solicit new business through sales/marketing, build agent relationships

  • Work with retail agents to submit business to target markets

  • Assess submissions, negotiate terms for best coverage/pricing

  • Coordinate with support teams for smooth service delivery


Qualifications:

  • P&C insurance knowledge - coverages, rating, terminology (licensing preferred)

  • Driven "people person" skilled at building relationships

  • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, ability to learn new software

  • Strong writing and analytical abilities

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented team player

  • 2-3 years Production Assistant experience preferred

  • 1-3 years wholesaler experience a plus

  • Desire to become a Producer/Broker within 1-2 years
