Senior SAP Security

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP Security Consultant with 10+ years of experience to lead SAP security design, implementation, and administration. This role involves ensuring robust governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) while maintaining seamless user access management across SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and management of SAP security roles and authorizations.
  
• Implement and support SAP GRC Access Control, including User Provisioning, Firefighter IDs, Role Management, and Access Risk Analysis.
  
• Ensure compliance with SOX, GDPR, and audit requirements.
  
• Manage security across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and other integrated systems.
  
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to define and enforce security best practices.
  
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve security-related issues in a timely manner.
  
• Drive security improvements and ensure alignment with business policies and IT governance standards.
  
• Mentor junior security consultants and provide expert guidance on SAP security landscapes.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  

• 10+ years of hands-on SAP Security experience, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, Fiori, and GRC.
  

• Proven expertise in role design, user provisioning, and access controls.
  

• Strong understanding of Segregation of Duties (SoD) and risk mitigation strategies.
  

• Experience with audit and compliance requirements.
  

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote global team environment.
  

Nice to Have

• SAP Certification in Security or GRC.
  
• Experience in cloud security (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS).
  
• Exposure to multinational rollouts and large enterprise landscapes.
