Quality Assurance Analyst

We're looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in the development process. You'll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases to identify and report software defects.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all functionalities of the software application.
  • Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and defects.
  • Analyse test results, diagnose issues, and report them using a bug tracking system.
  • Collaborate with developers to understand the root cause of defects and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest QA methodologies and testing tools.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
  • May assist with creating and maintaining test automation scripts (experience with scripting languages a plus).


Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing or a related QA role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Experience with manual and exploratory testing techniques.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
  • Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
