Quality Assurance Analyst

We're looking for a talented Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our team and play a vital role in the development process. You'll be responsible for designing, executing, and automating test cases to identify and report software defects.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases to cover all functionalities of the software application.
Execute manual and automated test cases to identify bugs and defects.
Analyse test results, diagnose issues, and report them using a bug tracking system.
Collaborate with developers to understand the root cause of defects and ensure timely resolution.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective.
Stay up-to-date on the latest QA methodologies and testing tools.
Continuously improve testing processes and identify opportunities for automation.
May assist with creating and maintaining test automation scripts (experience with scripting languages a plus).

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software testing or a related QA role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Experience with manual and exploratory testing techniques.
Working knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) methodologies.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) is a plus.
