Job description

As an ABAP Consultant – Generative AI SDK, you will:
  • Collaborate closely with product and development teams to design, implement, and enhance components of the ABAP Generative AI SDK.
  • Build and optimize integration capabilities for Generative AI frameworks and orchestration services within the ABAP environment.
  • Contribute to innovative solutions such as AI Agent Frameworks and SAP BTP GenAI Hub's Orchestration Services.
  • Drive the development of new tools and frameworks that expand the capabilities of ABAP in the context of AI integration.
  • Ensure high-quality code through test-driven development and adherence to best practices.
What You Bring to the Table:
  • 5+ years of experience in advanced ABAP development, including strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven experience in developing or contributing to SAP tooling and frameworks.
  • Commitment to product quality, including familiarity with test-driven development methodologies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Passion for solving problems creatively and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to work remotely within the EU, with a preference for availability in Germany.

  • Design and build ABAP components that enable integration with AI frameworks and services.
  • Work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Translate abstract ideas into well-structured technical implementations.
  • Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and apply them innovatively in SAP contexts.
