About Teams Squared

We are a team augmentation company dedicated to connecting exceptional remote talent with global organizations.

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Performance Coach with a proven ability to support and elevate professionals working in dynamic, remote-first environments. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching individuals in legal, operational, or consulting roles and a deep understanding of how to drive performance, accountability, and engagement through structured coaching and mentorship.



Responsibilities

  • Provide structured coaching and guidance to candidates and internal team members to support role success, engagement, and career development.
  • Partner with consultants placed on client engagements to help them navigate role transitions, performance expectations, and communication challenges.
  • Develop individualized performance plans, growth strategies, and mindset coaching tailored to each team member’s goals and areas for improvement.
  • Act as a trusted resource and sounding board for professionals navigating dynamic or high-stakes client environments.
  • Conduct 1:1 coaching sessions, performance check-ins, and feedback loops to foster confidence, accountability, and clarity.
  • Identify common performance themes and work with leadership to address broader team development needs.
  • Collaborate with Talent and HR teams to align coaching with hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies.


Requirements


  • 3+ years of coaching experience, preferably focused on early-to-mid-career professionals, legal professionals, or remote/distributed teams.
  • Deep understanding of performance management, growth coaching, and helping professionals build resilience and adaptability.
  • Strong communication and listening skills with a non-judgmental, empathetic coaching approach.
  • Able to balance empathy with accountability to drive real outcomes.
  • Experience working with professionals in high-growth, high-expectation environments.
  • Knowledge of tools and frameworks to support productivity, mindset, and interpersonal communication.
  • Experience with platforms like Notion, Slack, and Airtable is a plus.


Qualifications

  • Coaching certification (ICF or equivalent) is preferred, but not required if backed by strong practical experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in psychology, business, education, HR, or coaching-related field.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and a demonstrated ability to support others in navigating ambiguity and performance pressure.
  • Comfort working remotely and flexibly across a diverse team base.
