Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-focused Conveyancing Paralegal with hands-on experience supporting conveyancers or property lawyers within the Australian legal system. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in managing residential and/or commercial property transactions from start to finish, including preparing legal documents, conducting title searches, liaising with clients and other stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with applicable state-specific conveyancing laws. This role requires someone capable of handling files independently while working remotely in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Diploma or Certificate in Conveyancing, Legal Studies, or Paralegal Studies; a law degree is a strong bonus.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Australian residential or commercial conveyancing.
Strong knowledge of conveyancing procedures, state-specific legislation, and familiarity with PEXA and relevant online portals.
Excellent document drafting, organization, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and manage files remotely with minimal supervision.
Experience using conveyancing software and legal practice management tools.
