  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into banking, asset management, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proven experience managing or leading salespeople in quota-carrying environments, with a track record of hitting targets.
  • Strong ability to manage the full sales funnel from outbound origination through to close; proficient in using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to forecast and improve conversion.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills; commercially sharp with a builder mindset focused on scalable sales processes.

Job description

Circit is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company on a mission to verify the trusted source in every business transaction. We are building a global asset verification platform that enables auditors to deliver higher-quality financial audits while giving financial institutions a modern, automated way to collaborate with their clients. Our current customer base includes Big Four accountancy firms, fund administrators, global banks, asset managers, and custodians. 

We are now seeking a Sales Manager – Financial Services to lead and scale our commercial sales efforts across financial institutions globally, with an initial focus on EMEA and the US. This is a hands-on, player–coach role, responsible for managing a small sales team while also contributing directly to pipeline creation and deal execution. 

This role is ideal for a commercially strong sales leader with experience selling into financial services who enjoys building process, driving funnel conversion, and developing high-performing sales teams in a fast-growth SaaS environment. 

 

Role and Responsibilities 

  • Owning and driving the overall growth of Circit’s financial services sales pipeline, covering banks, asset managers, and fund service providers 
  • Managing, coaching, and developing a small team of Sales Executives, with responsibility for performance, targets, and day-to-day execution 
  • Driving the conversion of the sales funnel from origination to close, with a strong focus on prioritisation, deal progression, and velocity 
  • Actively selling alongside the team, including originating and closing deals with key target accounts 
  • Defining, implementing, and continuously improving sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting discipline using HubSpot 
  • Allocating target accounts and territories (non-geographic) to ensure efficient coverage and focus across a large universe of financial institutions 
  • Performing and supporting high-quality demos of the Circit platform to senior decision-makers within banks, asset managers, and service providers 
  • Working closely with product, marketing, and strategy teams to ensure feedback from prospects and customers informs product direction and go-to-market execution 
  • Collaborating with auditor sales team to ensure alignment and optimal resource allocation 
  • Representing Circit at relevant industry events and conferences to build brand presence and senior-level relationships 
  • Hiring and scaling additional sales resources over time as the commercial organisation grows 

Requirements

You must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, combining hands-on selling with people management and process ownership. You should be equally comfortable working at deal level and stepping back to optimise the overall sales engine. 

 

  • 7+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into banking, asset management, fintech, or financial services 
  • Prior experience managing or leading salespeople, formally or informally, in a quota-carrying environment 
  • Strong track record of closing complex deals and consistently hitting or exceeding targets 
  • Deep understanding of the full sales funnel, from outbound origination through to close 
  • Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to manage pipeline, forecast accurately, and improve conversion rates 
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills 
  • Commercially sharp, structured, and comfortable balancing strategy with execution 
  • A proactive, builder mindset — motivated by creating scalable sales processes, not just running existing ones 

 

Desired Criteria 

  • Existing relationships within banks, asset managers, or fund service providers in EMEA or the US 
  • Experience or knowledge of the audit industry 
  • Experience or knowledge of open banking and commercial APIs 
  • Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth SaaS environments 
  • Experience selling across multiple geographies or managing globally distributed teams
