  • Experience using Jira ticketing system and ability to triage requests

Requirements:

  • Triage and manage incoming requests via the cart and Jira, ensuring proper prioritization and routing
  • Create, upload, and manage documents; write professional correspondence; communicate with teams using Teams
  • Support research projects and events, and contribute to both independent and team-based tasks
  • Maintain a high-volume workload with attention to detail and adherence to procedures in a remote environment with occasional in-person meetings

Job description

Our major financial client is hiring an Administrative Assistant to support a technology team.

We are looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience.

Perform administrative functions to include:

Manage requests that come through the cart - need to look at tasks/requests and triage them.

Utilize a Jira ticketing system.

Proficient in Microsoft Office -- Outlook, Word and Excel.

Upload documents

Write correspondence

Use Teams for communication

Must be able to handle a high volume of work

Must be detail oriented and follow procedures

Some of the work is independent and some will be team projects/tasks

Must have technical knowledge

Experience in report writing is a plus

Some research projects

Assist with events

Excellent communication skills

General comments.

Remote with the exception of a quarterly face-to-face meeting, which may be "as needed" but never on a fixed schedule - at the discretion of the Director.
