What you'll be responsible for:

  • An understanding of the challenges with respect to translation and localization process optimization and best practices
  • Understanding and aligning customer technology stack to optimize localization process
  • Providing support for sales team via on-site and remote client meetings
  • Preparing queries, writing proposals, and completing RFP documentation during the solution development phase of new opportunities
  • Leading prospects through a proof of concept with custom trainings based on their localization requirements
  • Supporting Customer Success Managers for complex customer queries
  • Working closely with the product team to make sure that customer requirements are mapped and understood
  • Tracking existing technology solutions and following the latest trends and developments in the localization industry
  • Attending trade shows, speaking at conferences, and maintaining a visible presence through social platforms

What you need:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Clear and efficient oral and written communication in English is a must
  • Fluent in Japanese (Native level)
  • Have worked in an SA or Pre-sales role with a B2B SaaS provider, experience in working for companies that sell an ERP/CRM product would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience in working in an international technology business
  • Experience in SAAS onboarding is preferable
  • Experience in integration projects involving API and connectors
  • Hands-on machine translation experience is a plus
  • Technical proficiency in content-related solutions and systems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive multiple projects toward completion in parallel
