Roles & Responsibilities

7-10 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) backend development and architecture.
Proven experience leading and mentoring SFCC development teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong hands-on skills in Node.js, JavaScript, SFCC APIs (OCAPI/SCAPI) and SFCC customization, including Jobs, Services, Controllers, and Business Manager.
Experience with integrations and data modeling for catalogs, price books, promotions, inventory, and enterprise systems (ERP, OMS, PIM); familiarity with security and compliance (GDPR, PCI DSS).

Requirements:

Define and implement best practices for SFCC backend development to ensure scalability, performance, and security, and design optimized SFCC architecture with third-party integrations (OMS, PIM, ERP).
Develop and customize SFCC backend functionality using Node.js, JavaScript, and SFCC APIs; implement SFCC Jobs, Services, Controllers, Business Manager customizations, and OCAPI/SCAPI integrations; ensure efficient data modeling and performance optimization.
Lead a team of SFCC developers, provide technical guidance, code reviews, training, and coordinate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
Design and implement robust RESTful APIs (OCAPI/SCAPI) and integrations with middleware, ERP, and CRM; ensure secure handling of customer, order, and payment data; implement caching, CDN, monitoring, and security best practices including GDPR and PCI DSS.

Senior Team Lead / Junior Architect _ SFCC backend

Both Remote and Onsite

Exp: 7 10 Years

Shift: 1 PM to 10 PM
Location: Bangalore, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Gurgaon.

Key Responsibilities for a Senior Team Lead / Junior Architect in the SFCC backend role -

Define and implement best practices for SFCC backend development, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
Design and optimize SFCC architecture, including integrations with third-party services, OMS, PIM, and other enterprise systems.
Lead technical discussions, provide architectural recommendations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Development & Implementation:
Develop and customize SFCC backend functionality using Node.js, JavaScript, and SFCC APIs.
Implement SFCC Jobs, Services, Controllers, Business Manager customizations, and OCAPI/SCAPI integrations.
Ensure efficient data modeling, including Catalogs, Price Books, Promotions, and Inventory management.
Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement monitoring/logging strategies.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Lead a team of SFCC developers, providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Conduct training sessions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.

Integration & API Development:
Design and implement robust RESTful APIs, OCAPI, and SCAPI integrations.
Work with middleware, ERP, and CRM teams to ensure seamless data flow between systems.
Ensure secure and efficient handling of customer, order, and payment data.

Performance Optimization & Security:
Implement caching strategies, CDN optimizations, and database tuning for high-performance commerce solutions.
Ensure security best practices, including GDPR compliance, PCI DSS standards, and secure authentication mechanisms.
Conduct load testing, profiling, and debugging for optimizing backend performance.
