Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BigCommerce Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing e-commerce solutions on the BigCommerce platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other developers, to create seamless and high-performing online shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, customize, and maintain e-commerce websites using BigCommerce.

* Implement custom themes, templates, and plugins to enhance user experience.

* Work with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and other integrations to extend BigCommerce functionality.

* Optimize site performance and scalability for high traffic volumes.

* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth platform performance.

* Collaborate with the design and product teams to deliver user-centric solutions.

* Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.

* Manage and execute platform migrations, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.

* Stay up to date with the latest e-commerce trends and BigCommerce updates.

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in e-commerce development, with at least 3+ years on BigCommerce.

* Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery.
