Roles & Responsibilities

7+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View and Power BI services
Proficient in DAX for creating complex calculations and strong understanding of data visualization principles
Knowledge of SQL and other query languages, with experience in data integration, data modeling, and data transformation
Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service; ability to work in Agile environments

Requirements:

Design, develop, and implement Power BI solutions to meet clients' specific needs
Follow industry best practices in software development and version control; participate in Agile processes and daily SCRUMs
Estimate level of effort and monitor task execution from a reporting perspective; collaborate with delivery teams on functional and non-functional requirements
Be a self-starter who works independently, with strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

Job description

Job Summary
Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing Power BI solutions to cater to the specific needs of the clients.
Demonstrates a strong understanding of industry best standards in software development and version controlling.
Able to work on agile projects, participating in daily SCRUM calls and providing task updates.
Responsible for determining level of effort estimations, monitoring task execution from reporting perspective.
Collaborates with delivery team members to maximize and leverage the understanding of business solution functional requirements and non-functional requirements.
Must be a self-starter and must be able to work independently.
Well organized with great attention to detail and great communication skills.

Required Technical Skills
Overall 7+ years of proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View and PowerBI services.
Strong understanding of data visualization principles is highly desired.
Proficient in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex calculations. Knowledge of SQL and other query languages for data manipulation. Good knowledge of Data Integration, Data Modeling and Data Transformation. Having hands on experience on PowerBI desktop and web.

Nice to Have:
Tableau, QlikView, Python, DWH, MS Excel Solution desired Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements
Microsoft Certified: Power BI certification is a plus
Experience working with Agile development processes
