Roles & Responsibilities

8 to 12 years of Big Data / data-related technology experience with expert understanding of distributed computing principles
Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Azure data services (Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake/Blob storage, SQL DB) and building end-to-end Azure-based data pipelines
Proficiency in Python, Hadoop v2 (MapReduce, HDFS, Sqoop), streaming systems (Spark Streaming or Apache Storm) and messaging systems (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
Strong SQL and data integration skills across multiple sources (RDBMS such as SQL Server/Oracle, ERP, and files); experience with NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) and AGILE methodology

Requirements:

Design, develop, and implement scalable big data solutions on Azure using Spark, Databricks, Data Factory, and related components
Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines (batch and streaming) with data quality, governance, and performance tuning of Spark jobs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients; follow AGILE practices and provide technical leadership on Big Data architectures
Evaluate and integrate diverse data sources (RDBMS, ERP, files) and NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB) to deliver reliable data platforms

Requirements

8 to 12 years in Big Data & Data related technology experience

Experience with messaging systems, such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
Good understanding of Big Data querying tools, such as Hive, and Impala
Experience with integration of data from multiple data sources such as RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle), ERP, Files
Good understanding of SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, relational schemas
Experience with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB
Knowledge of ETL techniques and frameworks
Performance tuning of Spark Jobs
Experience with designing and implementing Big data solutions
Practitioner of AGILE methodology
